Kasundi is an Indian Chutney, We took a traditional recipe and added our own take to it. We have made it with some heat but have concentrated on the beautiful spices of India.

Description

Our Kasundi Story

Traditionally Kasundi is a Bengali fermented mustard relish. Kasundi hold a great cultural significance often associated with special occasions and celebrations.

Our Kasundi is a little bit different to the traditional Middle Eastern version.    We grow so many delicious heirloom vegetables we wanted to come up with a delicious relish using those vegetables and the beautiful spices of the Middle East.   After picking the vegetables from the garden we take them to the kitchen clean and peel them then sit them aside. Next we mix all our herbs and spices together then heat them  once you can smell that amazing aroma  it’s time to add the vegetables. A few more ingredients then it’s time to leave it to cook away for a good few hours.
